Both Gandhiji and Vinoba Bhave believed in a social organization based on the authonomy (self rule or independence)of the villages (gram, communities)and the dissolution of the 'state', the end of 'nationalism'. They believed in a world without boundaries (geopolitical)and a global federation of local communities. They believed in the ancient vision of "one world, one family" (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam)a world without violence. States, all over, are in crisis, politically,economically,socially and there is no opportunity to fight against then for separation... they are simply obsolete and therefore living their 'terminal'fase. The system is collapsing on its own... better invest the energy to constructive 'local swaraj projects' so that communities will be ready to take over the power and give it back to the people...
