De-Escalation Training with Mel Duncan

Mel Duncan was a guest trainer for our Nonviolence Studies program in August, as our theme has been around the workings of Unarmed Civilian Protection (UCP). Mel is the co-founder of the wonderful organization, Nonviolent Peaceforce; and, now retired, is working on a project called UCP in Palestine as well as offering de-escalation trainings especially in the Twin Cities. In this training, Mel explores key aspects of UCP intervention and de-escalation, including the practice of CLARA.

You can support his work with UCP in Palestine by making a donation using this link.
