Addressing the Realities of Refugees and Asylum Seekers

Since 1950 the UNHCR, or the United Nations Refugee Agency has worked “to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge, having fled violence, persecution or war at home.” In this episode of Uniting Nations, we speak with Jean-Nicolas Beuze, the UNHCR representative in Iraq about how their work overlaps with the duties and responsibilities of those working for a nonviolent world.
